|“|| The Reaper's exceptional speed, maneuverability, and shotgun-style primary weapon make it a combat vehicle without peer. Switching back and forth from its cannon mode (which fires deadly slug shells) to its canister mode (which fires a swath of pellets), the Reaper can destroy infantry, all ground units, and even enemy turrets.|
- Armory description
The Reaper is a highly versatile light vehicle that can deal with all types of enemies on the ground. It is armed with a large multibarrel shotgun-like weapon that can be loaded with 2 varieties of shells. This makes for a highly versatile ground unit. However, it cannot attack air units.
It is otherwise similar to the Phantom counterpart, the Slayer. The Mk 1 and Mk 2 versions are technically the same for both units. They starts to differs when reaching Mk 3, where the Reaper gains a speed boost, while the Slayer gains stealth.
In the default slug ammo mode, the Reaper fires at a single target in salvoes. It is great against heavy armor and is good against structures. In Canister mode, the Reaper fires all the barrels at once at short range. It deals area of effect damage in a cone in front of the weapon. The canister shells is very effective against infantry and is good against light vehicles. The Reaper has much lower rate of fire in this mode.
